अजमेर सिंह औलख

अजमेर सिंह औलख 19 अगस्त 1942 - 15 जून 2017) पंजाबी भाषा के विख्यात साहित्यकार हैं। इनके द्वारा रचित एक नाटक इश्क बाझ नमाज़ दा हज नाही के लिये उन्हें सन् 2006 में साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।[1]

जीवन


श्री ओळख का जीवन 19 अगस्त 1942 को पंजाब के मानसा जिले के गाँव कुंभडवाल में हुआ। उनके पिता का नाम श्री कौर सिंह और माता का नाम श्रीमती हरनाम कौर था।वः एक आदर्श अध्यापक थे। वह पंजाब एक जाने माने नाटककार थे और अपने जेअवं के अंत समय तक्क वः नाटक खेलते रहे।15 जून 2017 को उनका कैंसर की बीमारी क्र कारण उनका निधन हो गया।
