बिहार के गया शहर में सूर्य मंदिर प्रसिद्ध विष्णुपद मंदिर के 20 किलोमीटर उत्तर और रेलवे स्टेशन से 3 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित है। भगवान सूर्य को समर्पित यह मंदिर सोन नदी के किनारे स्थित है। दिपावली के छ: दिन बाद बिहार के लोकप्रिय पर्व छठ के अवसर पर यहां तीर्थयात्रियों की जबर्दस्त भीड़ होती है। इस अवसर पर यहां मेला भी लगता है।
