How can I get prebuilt/precompiled glibc 2.19 files to just copy and paste in the file system folders? I can't build or compile them myself (because I'm using the parted magic livecd from hiren; boots, that all I've got. BTW, I can't run an ubuntu livecd right now). I need this specific version to execute Blender 2.79b for modelling and other uses. Also, you have to tell me obviously the exact folders to put them (the files).

  • Why are you installing Blender on Parted Magic? Is it in anyway possible to install Blender not on a Live Boot Linux? I ask, because partedmagic is a commercial Linux distro and only users who have payed for a copy can access their forums, you may have better luck consulting their documentation on adding programs and asking on their forum then here. We want everyone to be welcome on this site but with commercial solutions it is best to reference their resources as not everyone here has access to that information.

  • yes it can execute from a usb stick or localy in where are my personal files and the program its, i just have to right click and click in execute and it opens, just like i am doing with this firefox 45.9 ESR, currently i can execute blender 2.78a, but i need 2.79b version thats needs that library, because i dont have a hard disk so i have been using a cd live of ubuntu, but they are not running anymore for some reason, and here i can get in with this parted magic from the hiren boots. nope this one is pirated unfortunately.
