I'm reading a 1000+ pages PDF file (for example, a draft of C++ standard document), using evince
. This works well, but I often want to search a word in selected text rather than the whole file.
For example, when I'm reading "12.7 Construction and destruction" section, I want to search words "undefined behavior" in this section. For now, I use a mouse to select the section, copy them, paste them to vim, and use /
search. This seems far from a good way.
Is there any PDF reader which has the function of searching word in a limited part of file rather than in a file as a whole?
