I have a physical server (DL380 G7) and CentOS 6.7 as OS. server was shut down for a while. some SAN storage were removed from machine and Network ports were shut. I used iLO to power on server again but it stuck at loading screen. i toggled screen to see the process there was a messege input output error.
I used ubuntu live, mounted my root partition to /mnt and tried to check /var/log nothing was there and /etc was like:
d?????????? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? etc
since i can't read any log to see what happened can anyone suggest a way to recover my server or where to find information about the cause of this?
the OS partitions were on local disks not on detached SAN storage.
