Having following issues with using external HDMI monitor through hub:

Monitor works fine when notebook starts with connected hub, but connecting hub when notebook is already running it doesn't work.

By running xrandr --listmonitors it connect monitor and display output:

Monitors: 1
0: +*eDP-1 1920/293x1080/162+0+0 eDP-1

But xrandr command is required to run always when connecting monitor through hub. Is there way to automate this action and run that command when something was inserted to USB port, or specifically when hub was connected?

Ofc. best would be having proper support for this detection in system, but workaround would be fine too. ps. using Ubuntu 19.04 with x11 (same issue also on Wayland).
