1- इसकी समय भारत व पाकिस्तान के मध्य डूरंड रेखा का निर्धारण हुआ था..


2- 1891 में दूसरा कारखाना अधिनियम लाया गया था जिसमें स्त्रियों को 11 घंटे प्रति दिन से अधिक काम करने पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया था!


3- सप्ताह में 1 दिन की छुट्टी का प्रावधान भी इसी के समय किया गया था.


4-"age of comment" बिल का पारित होना इसके समय की एक महत्वपूर्ण घटना रही थी..
