Emilia Ares Zoryan (born May 3, 1993) is an American film and television actress.
Emilia Ares is of Armenian, Spanish, Arabic, Iranian, and Italian descent.[1] Emilia graduated from Palisades Charter High School with honors and earned a BA in Economics from UCLA.[2] It is there that she minored in the Russian Language and studied film. Shortly after, she made her film debut as the lead in Conrad Jackson's award-winning Falling Overnight. Subsequently, Emilia starred in V/H/S Viral and The Dark Tapes.[1] She landed a recurring guest star role in the second season of Amazon's critically acclaimed noir detective hit, Bosch. Next, Emilia will play Natalie in Mr. Invincible along side Bill Engvall and Alyson Stoner.[1] Emilia will appear in Will Wernick's anticipated Escape Room follow-up, Follow Me.[1] Emilia portrays Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia in the Fox series American Horror Story.[1]

Emilia is most recently recognized for her national Verizon spot featuring Thomas Middleditch[3] and national Jergens campaign featuring Leslie Mann for Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer.[4]
Emilia has appeared in many ads some of which include appearances for Apple,[5]Sony, Coca-Cola,[6] and a PSA called "Time" for the American Academy of Dermatology.[7]
Film
Emilia made her film debut in Falling Overnight as Chloe Webb, a young photographer who meets and develops a relationship with Elliot Carson (Parker Croft) on the day before he has surgery to remove a malignant brain tumor.[2] Emilia has worked on several film projects, including Falling Overnight (2011)[1] and V/H/S: Viral (2014)[1]
Television
On television, Emilia has a guest star role in the second season of TV series Bosch from Amazon Studios.[1] The series is based on the novels centered on the character of the same name by Michael Connelly. The first season of the series was released on Amazon Prime Video on February 13, 2015.[8]
For Emilia's first television appearance, she landed the role of Anastasia on Unstrung, an ABC Family one-hour pilot from Life Unexpected executive producer Emily Whitesell.

Early life
Emilia grew up in Los Angeles, California where she intermittently toured locally and internationally with a dance company since she was 5 years old.[1]
While studying at UCLA, where she received a BA in Economics and a minor in Russian Studies, Emilia began working in commercials and landed her first lead role in the independent festival favorite, Falling Overnight.[2] Emilia leads an active lifestyle and loves snowboarding, hiking, yoga, gymnastics, and the shooting range.
